Don't be a Victim of Phishing!

There is a scam running around where somebody sends you an email "claiming" to be from your financial institution like your bank or similar. The email appears to be very official looking and "urgently warns" that your account has been compromised with "unauthorized" access and asks you to click on the link given in the email. Protect yourself and never click on the link given in such emails. It is a scam known as "phishing". Many unsuspecting people click on the link given in such emails and give out their personal data thereby becoming victims of fraud.

How can you protect yourself?
If you receive such an email, do NOT click on the link given in such an email. If you think the email may be legitimate, call the institution by phone or go to their website by typing their web address directly in your browser like www.YourBank.com
