Windows Vista Preview Released

Microsoft has released a preview of Windows Vista, its next operating system software. For now, the preview has been released to approx. 500,000 select business customers but the company plans to release it to a wider audience in the coming months. The system is expected to be in the stores before the US holiday season this year.

In another developemnet, Google has joined forces with Earthlink to provide free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) in San Francisco.
